81st International Inferno Races

Right to participate
The Inferno Super Combination (cross-country, giant-slalom and downhill) is open to male and female competitors, born in or before 2007, that have been accepted to start in the Inferno downhill.
All three disciplines must be finished. It is not possible to compete only in the cross-country or giant slalom.

Race categories
Individual categories are the same as the downhill categories.
In addition, there is a team category. The three best individual performances in the Super Combination per team regardless of the number of competitors in any one team. Competitors are not permitted to race for more than one team.

Entry fee
There is an extra fee of CHF 30.00 per entry added to the downhill charge, that is CHF 100.00 for all three events. If the entry fee is not paid by the date stated, the applicant forfeits the right to compete without being notified.

Starting order and draw

a) Cross-country (3 laps of 2 km in the Mürren village)
Whenever possible, start numbers are allocated with the results of the previous three carried out cross country races (overall results). New participants are placed at the end of the start list.
Competitors who do not clearly display start number will be disqualified.
The start numbers can be collected on race day in the starting area. The start numbers must all be returned to the organisers.

b) Giant slalom
Whenever possible, start numbers are allocated with the results of the previous three carried out giant slalom races (overall results). New participants are placed at the end of the start list.
This event is only possible for competitors who have been ranked in the cross- country race.
Helmets are compulsory (Regulation 5).
Competitors who do not clearly display start number will be disqualified.
The start numbers can be collected on race day in the starting area. The start numbers must all be returned to the organisers.

c) Downhill
According to the start list.

Competition venues:
The cross-country will be held as an evening race in the Mürren village. The prepared course is ca. 6 km long.

The giant slalom will be staged in the area around Winteregg. Inspetion is possible on race day for a limited time. Start numbers must be visible during inspection. Only racers are allowed on the course. Participants racing through the gates during inspection will be disqualified.

Results
Results will be compiled in accordance with FIS rules.

Prizes
Prizes are given for the best-placed men, women and teams.
